Postcard from Santa Fe

Today was a happy day because we received a postcard from Helen and also an email from Jeff!
The postcard said,
While Jeff was working over at Paris Disneyland, I escaped our remodel for a long weekend in Santa Fe. I met a college girlfriend there and we talked and walked and shopped and drank margaritas! It is a wonderful town, high in elevation and the bluest skies. Hope you two are both doing well and we look forward to hearing details about your next visit here! xoxo Helen and Jeff.
It was so lovely to hear about her little trip. The email from Jeff said,
Just a short note to thank you both for the lovely birthday gift you sent me. The CD went straight into my car – what a great band! Hope you both had a wonderful Easter. Helen and I went kayaking out in Long Beach harbor, where we were able to paddle up to a shopping mall, drag our kayaks onto a dock, and get a Starbucks coffee. It was kind of fun. The picture attached is from my Tier III Audit of Disneyland Paris Dreams show. The show got high marks, by the way. The team has a lot of pride in their work, and it shows.
My best to your families. And Helen and I are very excited and pleased to hear all about your upcoming wedding plans. We’d love to hear the details as it comes together.

I am so pleased that he liked the band Mutefish, they are now one of my favourites and it is nice to share the things you love.
Today I am grateful for our friendship to these wonderful people, and how happy I am to have met them at all.
