Sunny day in town

Today was my day off and I started it off watching Grimm over breakfast.
I painted my nails blue and yellow in preparation for Flounder Disneybound and wore my cobalt blue jeans with turquoise flats and blue earrings and headed into town.

I went to Oxfam where I had seen this cute yellow top and bought it to wear for the rest of the day as Flounder.

I then went to Claire's Accessories to hunt for earrings for Fiona's birthday. They were buy one get one free so I picked out some nice rose ones for Fiona and chose some penguins for me for Mary Poppins Jolly Holiday Disneybound!

I enjoyed walking around town in the sunshine as it poked through later in the early afternoon. I spotted this cute chalkboard outside a coffee shop and it made me smile. If I were to add to it I would write 'before I die I want to get married'.

I bought some Paddington Bear knickers for Fiona to continue our best friends tradition of buying each other new undies for every birthday and Christmas and also picked up an interesting novel called The Various about fairies and pixies that I know she will enjoy. I am tempted to read it first as the story seems like something I would love!

After the shopping was done I headed back home to watch more Grimm and make roast lamb dinner. It took a good couple of hours but when Luke came home we ate lamb leg with mint sauce, mashed carrot and parsnip, garlic roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. There is leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Today I am grateful for Luke who brought home the mint sauce and also a post-Easter treat of mini decorated chocolate eggs in a nest.
