Sunrise Seranade

Dear Diary,

Easter Sunday morning brought a sure sign of Spring...the return of the Gold Finch! This little guy seemed so exuberant in his singing and my heart was filled with happiness at the sight. As if not to be out done, the forsythia I had brought in a few days ago has also burst into yellow loveliness on the kitchen window. What wonderful sights for this joyous of mornings!
