A Productive Day

Hi Tom

I've had a really lovely day today. It started with parkrun. I did my best time. I was so pleased. I really just run to keep fit as I'm no speed merchant. But today I broke 30.00 mins which is something I never thought I would ever do. Plus I was 4th in my age group, 77th female and 261st out of 402. So I was a very smiley girl. These two ladies I'm with also go to my bootcamp. They are a lovely bunch and it's so nice that we all support each other. Unfortunately my open water swimming starts next week and I'm not sure I'll be able to get from one to the other quick enough. Anyway we finished parkrun by having a lovely breakfast together...my favourite, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, it was so nice.

Home to bath then out to get paint for the bedroom. It's being painted from Tuesday. Then it was off to Bringy Pine to look for bedside cabinets...found them. From there it was off to the new huge Next store to look for bits for the new en suite....purchased. On from there to home base to look for a new sink and toilet for our other bathroom...liked a set and that was bought. Off to Bookers to get beers and wine for the rest of the weekend...loaded up with a few extra bits. Then to the garden centre to get a boarder for my little secret garden which is having a makeover tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to doing that. Finally got home and emptied the car.

I then took the car off to the car wash. Such a lovely bunch of guys and girls working so hard cleaning the cars. I had a cheeky chappie doing mine but he gave me three air freshness because he said I was a lovely lady...that made me really smile too...he probably tells all the ladies this :)

Finally home and I had a lovely bunch of roses from Hollie waiting for me. Such a sweet girl.

Now we are all waiting for dinner to be cooked.
