From The Kitchen Window

Hi Tom

Look what I saw this morning. I took this from the kitchen window. It's an Egret. He's obviously hungry and we have plenty of fish in the river.

On my trip along the towpath yesterday I saw the most beautiful mandarin duck. He was gorgeous. I would so love some mandarin ducks on our river.

I'm keeping my camera at the ready incase I see the kingfisher. I really want to capture him at some stage.

Life on a river has it's highs as well as it's lows...in more ways than one.

After yesterday's walk I think a boat in our river would be a good idea.
