Palm Sunday

"They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, “Hosanna! ” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Blessed is the king of Israel!” John 12:13

Today's picture is of some branches on a tree by the canal where we had a walk today. It was a nice and sunny day and so it was good to get out and have a walk. We also stopped at the pub and had a drink!!

Today's verse is about Palm Sunday which is today. It is a time for celebration, when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. It is also a time for reflection as we know what came next and what we remember at this time of year. Of course I am talking about Jesus dying on the cross and taking all of our sins upon himself. But of course the story does not end there He went on to conquer death itself. The most significant victory in the history of all mankind.
