Guests

"The other guests began to say among themselves, "Who is this who even forgives sins?" Luke 7:49

Today's pictures is of all the shoes in our hall. We have got the neighbouroonies come to stay for a few days, and so this is all our shoes!! We like having people to come and stay.

The Bible verse is talking about some guests that were with Jesus. This is the account of the lady who wept and washed Jesus feet with her tears and dried them with her hair and kissed Jesus' feet. Jesus forgave her of her sins, and all the other guests were questioning His authority to forgive sins. They could not see who Jesus was at this time, that He was God, born as a man. Therefore, He did have the authority to forgive sins. I wonder if we always recognise Jesus for who He is?
