Happy Birthday Mum

This is a quick backblip, as Mum should now be in the car travelling down to see me today for lunch. It's Mum's birthday on Tuesday so I have invited Mum and Dad and my Auntie Jane down for Sunday lunch/Birthday Lunch. This is because Mum is having a new kitchen fitted so they have been surviving on ping and ding ready meals for the last few days.

Normally when Mum and Dad visits she brings me a home made chocolate cake, but due to the kitchen situation this would be out of the question, so I decided to make a Birthday cake for Mum to surprise her. The really big surprise is that it's not a chocolate cake. It is an orange cake, and the icing proved a little troublesome, so this is V2.

This morning I looked out of the window to see the most amazing coloured cloud formation so I quickly got dressed and jumped in the car, but the colour had gone from the clouds by the time I had got somewhere suitable, and all was left was some nice subtle colours, which I have uploaded onto the Blippers Community Overspill page on Flickr.
