Caught in the fence

Friday was the my first of 3 days at Silverstone for the World Endurance Championship, which is a major sportscar championship for Le Mans prototypes and GT cars. Friday was a mixed day weather wise starting damp, drying out and then finishing with a bit of rain again.

This shot was a bit experimental, I was trying to do a zoom burst, and I ended up framing the Gulf Aston Martin Vantage in one of the fence links while blurring everything else, including the chasing Toyota hybrid prototype in the background.
