The run to the finish

This is a shot of the race winning Audi R18 e-tron quattro driven by Marcel Fassler racing up to the finish line and chequered flag at the end of the 6 Hours of Silverstone race which is the opening round of the World Endurance Championship. 

As with the previous day's ELMS race there was some thrilling racing and some late race drama before the Audi came out on top followed by the Porsche and the Toyota rounding out the podium. Sadly Mark Webbers Porsche which took pole position and featured in Saturday's blip retired from the lead of the race after an hour.
