Bed Time

"let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water." Hebrews 10:22

Today I had forgotten to take a picture, so thought I would take a picture of my bedside clock when I was turning my light off. This provides me with yet another tenuous link to the Bible verse as it is chapter 10 and verse 22!! I looked through all the books of the Bible to find a chapter 10 and verse 22 and could only find a few because many books don't go for this many chapters or if they do, they don't have enough verses!!

So I went this verse which is an encouragement to drawn near to God. And leading on from the baptism topic yesterday it tells us to have our bodies washed in pure water!! The section of this chapter is about persevering in faith. It can be difficult at times to keep going, when life throws a lot of challenges our way it is hard to see God in all these things, but I would encourage you to cling on to God at these times especially and He will help you through. Like the story of the footprints in the sand, it may look as if God has abandoned us, but actually He has picked us up and is carrying us. Keep going in faith...
