Once again we did not quite make it to Lago di Como... Might have had something to do with getting up at 12pm. So we went for pizza lunch near le colonne and then went to La Pinacoteca di Brera, the large Renaissance art gallery in Brera, an area that I hadn't actually been to before. Its beautiful. We wandered the gallery a bit, although unfortunately one of its most famous pieces (a Caravaggio) wasn't there. Being slightly hungover, we may have spent more time sitting and admiring the paintings than I would usually do... We didn't spend too much time in the gallery as it was a beautiful day outside. We ended up wandering through Brera and then getting an iced coffee and sitting in a really lovely little piazza, only moving when the sun had moved so we were sitting in shadows. Luckily their flight back was late so we were able to have a pretty leisurely day!
