Having not made it to Lago di Como as originally planned, we went for breakfast at the California Bakery near me (think I may be slightly addicted...) In fairness it is in a lovely little square where we could sit outside. Plus their pancakes are really good. After eating breakfast and taking a few photos by some amazingly bright and colourful graffiti, we headed for the roof of the Duomo. There are two options for getting to the top, either you walk or you can take the lift which of course would be 5 euros extra. So being students, we decided to walk it. Its only 250 stairs which isn't really that much, I'd climbed 350 at Le Cinque Terre the previous week. I also have no idea where the lift is, there was no sign of it at all... Convinced its a scam to con lazy/richer tourists. The roof itself is absolutely beautiful, I didn't realise how much of it you are able to walk around or just how many statues there are. After chilling (sunbathing) on the roof for a while we climbed back down the stairs before heading up once more to the Aperol Bar (luckily having the lift option free of charge). Think we definitely deserved our cocktail in front of the Duomo.

In the evening we had an early supper (pasta this time - we had to cover every possible aspect of Italian cuisine) before heading to another flat party in a great position by le colonne. Still not entirely sure whose flat it was... A friend of a friend of a friend? Anyway we ended up going out with them to the Tunnel Club, where supposedly Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs were playing. Its quite far out but a good venue. The only slight interesting thing being the toilets which, although never great at clubs, were just quite bizarre. Firstly there were only two, which is never going to go down well, but secondly they were set up using curtains as the only partition so you felt like you were practically sitting next to the person next to you.. Quite a weird experience.
