On a "major programme of conservation work to the upper levels including the great west window...." at Exeter Cathedral.
I had a lovely day in Exeter today with a blip friend, and while I sloped off to John Lewis she visited this wonderful cathedral before we met for lunch at "Tea on the Green".
The sun shone for most of the day, and it was great to have a look at the shops, many of which had attractive Easter window displays.
Living in a small village and near a small, pretty town is great, but sometimes it is fun to visit a big city centre!
