MIA

There is too much space and not enough toothbrushes in the house. Though oddly still one more toothbrush than person. I never really understand our toothbrush situation, I just know that mine is the pink one because no-one else wants it. And there is spare toothpaste because Anna likes a choice of flavour, as long as the choice is not mint which was a challenge until we found this range.

If we hadn't already decided then spending any time in the house without the kids has further confirmed the need for us to move to an apartment the second the kids leave home. Our house is the perfect size for four of us.

Once I'd stopped being distracted by the quiet by putting on radio 4 in every room I did get quite a lot of work done which is a good thing or it would have made the kids going to my folks so I can work sort of pointless. Though as they spent the day at Cadbury World they would probably have wanted to go regardless of what we were up to.

This evening we headed out to dinner to escape the quiet and then home for Carl to write up yesterday's match report and me to learn some tunes on the piano as I appear to have agreed to record various badly played bits for a play.
