Roast Dinner

Usual Sunday figures took their time again today but we kept ourselves in high spirits with coffee and chai and listening to motivating music when we were in the office to keep us going! A lot of '80s was listened to and we ended to the day with High school Musical and serenading Ciara Part of Your World because she has never watched the Little Mermaid!
I also showed Ciara and Sinead the Disneybound boards on Pinterest and got them pointing out their favourites. Sinead told me she had seen a guy in disneyland bounding as Peter Pan like a punk version and she sent me the photos of his cosplay online, it is truly awesome.
I came home in the evening to see Luke had just woken up, so we started the roast dinner at 8pm and didn't get round to eating it until 10pm! Roast lamb, carrots, broccoli, roast potatoes and gravy. There would have been Yorkshire puddings too but there wasn't enough time. Maybe we will have puddings some other night in the week.
While we waited for the tea to cook we watched a couple of episodes of NCIS:LA and got frustrated with the plot line for Deeks and Kensi, usually my favourite thing about that show!
I also enjoyed a snuggle with Ted before bedtime and he looked so content and sleepy it was lovely.
Today I am grateful for my meat and two veg.
