Statuary Sunday

COLOR! WE GOT COLOR! The first little violet crocus appeared on the neighbors lawn. But...my pictures were a step above garbage. I couldn't get the gold center cluster in focus. Perhaps I'll try again.

Just after photographing the flowers, our little dog Niya jumped up into our flower bed...sniffing and exploring. I guess dogs like to see the coming of Spring, too.

I thought twice about posting this picture. WHAT KIND OF GUY ALLOWS HIS DOG TO BE DRESSED IN A SWEATER? AND...A PURPLE ARGYLE SWEATER AT THAT?

Oh the embarrassment...oh the shame...oh...how humiliating. Next thing you know...I'll be looking for a doggie stroller...put a little chihauhau bonnet on her...and push her through Wal-Mart.

I'm thinking about turning in my Man Card.
