This one reminded me of an ice cream. It certainly wasn't the weather for it though. We're covered with a thick murky atmosphere that we're told will clear soon.....

It's been quite a useful day.
I went into Lichfield to collect the Bose iPod dock that wasn't working. It's quite a powerful little toy and I have happy memories of my previous home. On occasions when the neighbours were out and left their boys in alone, their music could get a bit loud. It's amazing how Anna Netrebko can fight back - and grand opera isn't really every teenage boy's cup of tea :-)

I got it home from the repair man and plugged it in. Nothing - just an odd hum, the one it had before. Curse and swear (although he hadn't charged me much). I took it into the kitchen and tried there. The same. Then I whacked it (not my usual style). As if by magic, it seemed to realise I wasn't standing any temperamental electrical nonsense. It's back on form...... viva Vittorio Grigolo.....
