Desolation

We spent the night at a hotel in Penrith, and rather than hit the M6 as usual to head home, we detoured across the Eden Valley towards Hawes where a cream scone had my name on it. Just before reaching the Ribble Viaduct, we spotted this little gem of a cottage. I have a competition at camera club next season called "Desolation" and I think this could well be a contender. The reflection and fluffy clouds were an added bonus.
