Arriving in Arran

Back Blip

We spent the day on the Isle of Arran today, visiting my Dad. He has visited Arran all his life, and moved there with Mum around 20 years ago. At 86 years old sadly he has recently moved into a care home, and this was my first visit to see his new home. He was very excited to see us, but at some point during our visit forgot who we were. Dementia worsening each time I see him, and forgetting who I am was inevitable. Emotional day.
