Omphaloides Verna
First day back home in 10 days, and catching up with lots of back blipping! If you are one of my followers, please take the time to look back as far as 22nd March. We have just returned from 6 days in the Lake District on a photography course with John Gravett of LPH. Learned a huge amount as well as coming home with a lengthy list of filters I simply cannot function without any more! We then spent 3 days in Scotland seeing family and friends including a day trip to Arran to visit my Dad. Spent a while this morning setting up folders to sort out the hundred of photos, and just quickly choosing a few today for blips to catch up.
What a difference to the amount of growth and colour in our garden this past 10 days. This little beauty is called Omphaloides Verna, and although it looks a lot like common "forget -me-not", the colour intensity is far superior. I bought one plant many years ago at Christopher Lloyd's fabulous garden Great Dixter, and it has multiplied 100 fold. I love it here self seeded in the gravel path nestling next to the rusty old lawn roller.
Apologies for lack of comments this past 10 days, and look forward to catching up.
