Grown a beard waiting for an Edinburgh tram..
Well, they have been doing this tram project for 6/7 years since I first started visiting Edinburgh regularly. A lot of things could happen in 6 years. Lots of people have probably changed their hairstyles or grown beards in that time!
Anyway, I'll stop wittering and get to the point now.
After a lovely night out with last night, I slept right up until 7am which is late for me. I had my shower and was first down for breakfast this morning. Feeling much better, I went back to my usual egg, bacon and tomato after my bran flakes and toast. Seattle Man turned up soon after and told me he hadn't got in until 2:30am after a long night out with his new workmates. He was showing no ill effects! As his flight tomorrow morning was at 2:30am back to Seattle, he would be having a relaxing day and early night. The clocks go forward too so the paranoia about whether your iPhone will move forward automatically is something I'd be wondering about too. After breakfast, I printed off my boarding pass in David's inner sanctum and settled my bill to save time tomorrow.
I headed out soon after and caught the bus up to the museum where I killed a happy hour wandering about and saying goodbye to Dolly the Sheep before catching a number 3 bus to Edinburgh Butterfly and Insect World where I was going with Ann and Baxter who got on my bus further along the bus route.
I'd never been anywhere like that before and had accepted readily when Baxter had suggested it to me on Thursday. It was wonderful! It was very hot and steamy in there to keep all the little creatures happy but we soon got acclimatised. I was seriously spoiled for choice with pictures of beautiful butterflies and strange creepy crawlies but I took a real fancy to this gorgeous bearded dragon. I hope you like him too.
We went for a late lunch in a nearby pub after that. The time whooshed by and soon it was time to catch the bus back home again. I was really tired and was glad to get back to Ferry Road in time to see Will I Am and a couple of his team completely murdering one of my favourite songs from David Bowie on The Voice.
Track? Easy one today! Let's have David Bowie doing the above as it should be - Let's Dance
