Blip Bash...Continued

While all of the other visiting blippers went home (except the locals)...somewhere the big Blip bash continued. It's here...in Bradenton, Florida.

Our Finlanders...Tero and Raele, (Riley...Festina) got here about 1:30 p.m. The plan was to go out and shoot some birds...and to perhaps go hunting for some more deer heads. (HA!) But...Mother Nature did not co-operate. Rain, rain, and more rain...making it impossible to even get out of the van.

So...instead we went to the Ringling Museum of Art. We stayed inside...not venturing into the pretty courtyard.

They were both good models. Not Sefferdog good (he'll do anything)...but they both did what I asked them to do.

It's kind of funny how this site brings us together. Who woulda thunk it? That all 3 of us would be sitting here at the dining room table...typing our blips.

Now...if I could only speak Finnish.

After 2 weeks of them eating out at restaurants...I cooked them a nice home-cooked meal. Baked chicken, mashed potatoes (they didn't put butter on theirs), carrots, and green beans. And...(drum roll)...for dessert...O Band of Blippers...what do you think we had? YOU GUESSED IT! STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE!!

We're hoping the weather clears up in the morning...but it doesn't sound good.
