Early morning walk

We managed to get out for an early morning walk before I left for work, and as you can see the weather was glorious. This is the path through the fields at the top of our road, and is a lovely walk past the horses, with such great views to the sea.

Work was ok today, but I'm still going to go for the other interview which I've now managed to change to Tuesday at 11am. I looked at public transport for Thursday and I'd have had to have got a train at 7am to get there in time for my appointment at 9am, but this way I can drive and it should only take an hour.

I had a nice lunch and catch up with Barbs who came to meet me for lunch as she also works in Hove. It's been a very social week!

Anyway, we're now getting ready for the arrival of Rachel, Scott and Scarlett who are driving down tonight, and staying until Monday. They left about 7pm in the hope that Scarlett will sleep in the car and then they can just lift her into the cot when they get here, so fingers crossed she stays asleep! I'm looking forward to lots of Nanny time this weekend :-)

Anyway, I'd better get on as Rach has just texted me to say they're getting on the M42, so hopefully they'll be here about 11ish. It'll soon be the weekend, hope you've had a good week!
