Hanging around in bars....

Today I've been into Brussels with blip buddy Shoemum and one of our friends who moves back to Canada next week. We planned a farewell beer tour, and visited some of the more traditional bars which are extremely old and full of character. The first port of call was a bar called 'Poechenellekelder' which I think means 'Puppet Cellar'. It's exceedingly quirky, with puppets hanging from the ceiling, walls and even sat around at tables - some of them are actually quite scary!

We had a great day, and managed to dodge the rain going from bar to bar, and although I took some shots in the Grand Place, today's blip had to be of the puppets - I hope you don't find them too creepy!

We've got a final farewell lunch planned for next week, and will be sad to see them go, but living in an ex-pat community it unfortunately becomes a way of life.
