The Big Oak

A bit of a quick blip today. I've been so busy out and about that I'm finding it hard to squeeze blip in.

When I looked down the back garden at all the signs of spring springing up, this, at the moment is my favourite. Our big oak surrounded by the circle of daffs. I just love it.

I hope it's going to be a good day today. I'm going to Southwold with Elaine. It's been a long time coming us going out for a day. We used to do it more often when she didn't have David. But that's a lovely new part of her life now.

She has her holiday flat there which now has a star rating. We are taking some bits down there. The last time I went she had decorators and builders in so it will be nice to see the finished item.

Another celebration dinner later....then the birthday finally comes to an end. Someone did say the older you get, the celebrations get longer....they're not kidding in my case x
