A Plumbers Wife!

For what exactly?

I took my little camera into school today on the basis that last week I missed many blip opportunities by not having it with me. So after a long, but very productive day with 5 hours of teaching my cherubs aged 13-16, I was running errands (giving out detention letterss) this afternoon and I walked past this machine and it's cryptic message.

So yes, I legged it back to my office to get the camera. Priorities people, priorities! A colleague saw me taking the photo and asked why - told her I thought the message was random and it would make a good blip. She looked like I had finally lost it. No change there then.

SO, use the correct finger for what????
Edit - having seen Caffeine's blip for today, I think I have an answer. Don't let them grind you down chuck.

(Actually it's an instruction to our kids - this is the 'cashless system' we use for students to pay for their dinners. Parents pay by cheque, in advance, or students load their account with money, and then they don't have to bring money in on a daily basis for their school dinners. To access their account they have to use the index finger on their right hand - that's the one that is scanned when their account is set up. Its amazing how many of them think they can use any finger. Its cool when they come to pay, because their picture appears on the cash register too - just in case anyone has stolen someone's finger to pay for their lunch!!!!)

In other news - a message of support for someone close to my heart. Alcohol IS a fuel. It burns. Therefore it is, in my personal opinion, perfectly acceptable, in fact it is a stroke of genius, to spend your winter fuel allowance on a couple of crates of decent wine. It is a well known fact that beer/alcohol provides you with a coat when you walk home from the pub half cut, so it all seems legit and above board to me. You know who you are - and I am still laughing every time I think about it (and one of my friends at work says you are a legend!)
