Across the River Tay

This weekend son 3, with the encouragement of his mother, hired an industrial power washer in Dundee and this has kept me busy for the last 3 days cleaning patio - garden paths etc and explains the recent lack of blips. He has returned today to Texas leaving his mother sad but delighted the patio is now clean!
I happily returned the washer this afternoon and on the way home stopped in the lovely car park on the Fife side to enjoy the late afternoon sun and the view across the Tay to Dundee.
The Tay Road bridge was opened when I was in my last year at school and at 1.4 miles long it is one of the longest road bridges in Europe.
