When You Know Down inside, that I really do

Tonight, himself and I went on another excursion.

This empty nest thing isn't all bad.

First off we stopped at Morrisons, and I had to drag himself past a mad who had parked horizontally over two disabled parking bays. Himself once got out the car when someone cut us up to a Parent and Child Parking space. I don't think I've ever recovered from the outburst. It was so unlike him.

Anyways, I managed to keep him back to a scary, narrow eyed scowl.

After the Morrison, we drove around a bit looking for some fun.... no, a photo actually, and I ventured up the woods; I fancied some young men with funny shaped balls. When we got there, their balls were not to be seen, and they were all heading inside, so that was out.

It was dark. The woods were pretty scary, so I sent himself out to position himself against a tree to get me a nice shot. In reality I was wanting to get a picture of him, in a funny position against the tree, but I had forgot the other camera, and by the time I had my phone out,... he had taken all the shots for me he was going to.

So we headed off, along a wee narrow country road that leads away from the woods, and I remembered a clump of daffodils I had spotted earlier. I pulled over and without even asking.... Himself jumped out and cultivated them for me. I contemplated asking him to cultivate some more, but he insisted the ones I glanced at were outside someone's house.

Ah. I can sense a loosening up of his adult morals.... I feel a lot of mischief in the next few months :-)
