Rest time.

Another busy day – first stop Sheep World just north of Warkworth to see the sheep and dog shows and a whole variety of animals on the farm.

From the Blip you may think it unfair for the sheep dog to have a chain on but they know that when the chain is attached to it's collar then it is rest time, if the chain is removed then you are working rounding the sheep up.

R feed a lamb and I attempted to sort the sheep, depending on the colour of their hair, into three pens by operating a pair of gates.

After a couple of hours at Sheep World we set off for Goat Island. There we had a wander along the beach before an hours Glass Bottom boat ride to view the marine life in the Goat Island Marine Reserve.

Tomorrow we set for Haruru Falls, Paihia.
