Wellsford - Dome Forest

Before setting off for Wellsford we went into town to try and find a wall painting – no success - not even the locals were too sure where it might be. Trip to Wellsford took about 4 hours with a couple of stops along the way. Once into the motel we took a 10 minute car trip to the Dome Forest Walkway to stretch our legs on yet another hill climb but this time in the forest surrounded by trees and the track went from constructed steps (see blip) to tree roots and rocks. Walked for about 30 minutes and then turned and came back to the car park. On arrival back at the car park we were offered a drink by the owner of the cafe (closed), which we took up, spent about 15 minutes chatting with him and then set off back to the motel.
