Gebrüder Frommlet

The days of sitting in front of files & PC are slowly coming to a close. It has been very hard trying to balance the relatively good weather and the urge to be outside in the garden with the deadlines to get forms submitted.

Had to be up at 5:00 to take Angie to the station as I needed the car for a meeting in Memmingen this afternoon. Went very well and a pleasant experience with some very competent people.

Afterwards had to quickly pick up some groceries. The Bliped colourful building is the HQ of Gefro, founded by the brothers Frommlet in 1924, the same year as Tesco's. Gefro specialise in Bio/Green soups, sauces, herbs & spices and seem to have a big following in Germany. I think all their products are dried and vegetable based - for instance they have a Spag. Bolognese sauce powder based on soya.
