A Cat In My Life

This is a sketch of 'a cat in my life' and I chose Ted as the cat as he is the only one I can currently sketch from life. I decided to add to My Beautiful Life book that Jenny bought me, where you draw something in your life on each page and it suggests something different on every one. My drawing does not capture Ted very well, he is far more beautiful than I can draw, his eyes aren't quite right....
Anyway, I drew this after I had eaten my dinner of chicken korma and naan bread and had watched a movie called When In Rome. It is a sweet movie about a woman who takes five tokens or coins out of the fountain of love and ends up with those five men who threw them in falling in love with her. All of them are under the spell of Love, except one of them who is actually in love with her for real as he didn't throw his poker chip into the fountain, someone else did.
My day was long and I had to say good bye to Ali for a week whilst she is on holiday. She is actually going to Sheffield tomorrow to watch the Charlton Athletic match as they are her favourite team, I have told her to look out for some Henderson's Relish!
One day out of my six day stretch is done and over, and I am off to bed alone as Luke is out tonight with work for a very post Christmas party. He has promised to give me a cuddle when he gets in later.
Today I am grateful for Luke having been food shopping on his day off so that I have lovely things for my lunch and dinner this week, he even bought avocado and lots of yummy fruit just for me.
