Footprints in the sand

Our last day in Cornwall.
Couldn't have been more perfect!
Sun, sun, sun! Up to 17c.
This was our first stop this morning.

Porthcurno. Best seen large.

Had the place to ourselves.
Perfect peace.
The sea sparkled in the sunshine.
We just stood taking it all in, and storing up the memory of this perfect moment, to remember when there is another dreary wet day.
I will just close my eyes and see this.

We had lunch in Newlyn at the pub we went to last week.
Early afternoon in Marazion. With a walk round the marshes and along the beach.
Then down to Perranuthnoe beach, and after a walk along this beach also, had tea and scones sat outside the beach café. Watching the surfers. No huge waves today though.

What a perfect day!

Now back here to pack ready for our journey home tomorrow.

We are staying with friends in Somerset Saturday night, and calling in to see MrC's cousin in Lechlade on Sunday.
So no blips until Monday.
