A beautiful morning

What a beautiful morning - I enjoyed taking Murdoch for a walk in the sunshine, although it is still very muddy after the rain (and hail) which we had yesterday.

In a month's time we will be in South Africa for my niece's wedding - there is so much excitement in the family as it is our first wedding in a long time, and my boys are particularly excited as they have never been to a wedding before. Thomas and Luke will be playing the trumpet in the chapel, and I have had to buy Thomas his first suit! (courtesy of M&S children's department). Adam is upset he is missing the bachelor's party.... but we will only be there for 4 nights (and 2 nights on the plane) as the older boys need to be studying for A level exams next term. Thank goodness for airmiles - it does compensate for Gavin doing so much travelling (Japan last week, Boston this week)

And so the trial of Oscar Pistorius finally comes to court. This is such a major news event in South Africa that the main satellite TV company has added an extra channel called The Pistorius Trail. From what I have read in the news, he seems guilty. But the trial is only starting...let justice prevail.
