Leaving home

I was away from my house in Argyll at 7.30 this morning for a day that took in a wide range of good and interesting meetings and events in Aberdeen and Dundee. I finally got to my Edinburgh flat at 10.00 pm.

This was the view as I came round the hillside from my house all those hours ago.

So, excellent things elsewhere not withstanding, no one can be surprised that on mornings like this I am always a little regretful to be leaving home.
