Royal Visit

I was in my office in the Parliament this afternoon , meeting with one of my departmental directors, when we both noticed a flurry of police activity at "Dynamic Earth" , of which I have a great view and which I have blipped several times before.

There were at least half a dozen uniformed motorcyclists there, a number of officers and a police vehicle. There was also a black Land Rover Discovery and a couple of cars with pennants flying.

We carried on with our meeting but with an eye open for any more activity.

Sure enough , ten minutes later HRH Princess Anne appeared , with a group that looked as if it included the Lord Provost. Later I found this online which revealed what she had been doing.
