Who said bad weather!!

The forecast was wrong.....I'm pleased to say!!!!

This young woman enjoyed the sunshine on the crossing from Picton to Wellington. It was a smooth trip most of the way, but got a bit bumpy as we approached the coast of North Island.

The 3hrs passed quickly as I did some crochet, with regular interruptions to do a trip round the deck to take pictures.

We are now settled in to the next motel. They only provide 30mins internet connection, so we took ourselves out to look for a coffee shop with wifi. Success!! Three guesses where we will be having breakfast tomorrow morning, Mr Bun's!!

We found a convenience store to stock up on fresh fruit and other bits and pieces we needed, also somewhere to eat this evening. There was a heavy shower whilst we were out, but it has now dried up!!
