Sunset under the Gardian Oaktree

One day extra...I was prepairing things in order to leave early tomorrow morning and travel to the seaside. Something didn’t fit. I looked into the train reservation and so: There you are, mistaken. We’ll leave Tuesday morning.

Quite a relief. One whole day to go on with our life here! No hurry, no worry. Just relax - a bit more. Oh yes, we know from Zen- and Mindfulness training, that this is exactly what happens when you focus on breathing with full attention in the here and now. Plenty of time is given to you. If you don’t divide and fragment your ego-preoccupations, fixating thoughts, from the hundred into the thousand. All those other things you also want, should, must do, you care about. Drop it.

Yes, you big successful multi-tasker, all your anticipations, tactics and strategies, remember…? No, just concentrate on the here and now. Even don’t think that in No Time you will have got Plenty of Time. Don’t think about difference between Ego-time and Selfless Eternity. Stop thinking..:)

Meanwhile it is halfway Sunday evening now. I still have to bring this Journal to a conclusion..About what? About “Plenty of time” by “mistake”, your One Day Extra. But that would be playing a game. Because nothing really happened. You cannot even say that now your life will be prolonged with one day. And what would be that ultimate good deed, sacrifice to fulfill that extra term? “Mors certa hora incerta” Contrary to the fact of death, the time of death is not certain.

And what if your life turns out to be radically shortened, and your time has come tomorrow? Instead of one day extra, uh? What will be your last write up then? For whom? For Willemien & Mischa, Ok. Can’ t you really hurry up, now?! What my ultimate word will be then? Does it still matter? Indeed, because you will have to ask for forgiveness for waisting your lifetime on nonsense affairs. Instead of really loving the both of You and giving You the respect and selfless attention, You deserve.

Instead of drawing for Mischa The Squirrel she loves. Instead of dancing with Willemien, smiling & laughing on the Music of the Universe. Just during those minutes at sunset time under Your Gardian Oaktree. For giving once again that Real Love, would you need One Day Extra?
