Birthday Emergency

On this day, we celebrated our boy's 3rd birthday with our extended family.

This was one of his favorite gifts, a red scooter, decked out like a fire engine. As soon as he received this from my mom, he rushed to get one of his fire hats and then scooted all over the first level of our house.

We haven't seen my mom, a.k.a. GG, since this day because she's been in Mexico, mostly recuperating from pneumonia. We can't wait until she is better and back from her trip.
