Lily Bear

Beautiful sunshine this morning and once it had warmed a little dad and I took the children out on their bikes along the side of the racecourse, stopping off for coffee at the golf club.

After lunch I took the children in to Chester to do some shopping. They've been saving up their coins from their swimming charts, and J wanted a new Lego set and C wanted to go to build a bear. It's a pricey way to get a new bear but it's heaven for a 5 year old to be able to choose a bear, help stuff it, add a little heart and then choose an outfit. Good thing we don't live any where near a store or C would be regularly asking to go back for new shoes and clothes. A job for me and my sewing machine instead I think.

Mum's consultant decided that her ankle was still a little too swollen for them to operate today, so eventually she was sent home to sit with her leg up until next Monday. At least she has us for company for a few days, and to be at her beck and call.
