Ballona Wetlands field trip

Really enjoyable day out in the sunshine as chaperone to Reuben's school field trip at the Ballona Wetlands.

Reuben's and my first time on a school bus and I'll hasten to add that I think I was more excited than him. Am a great lover of wetland environments and it would always be a favorite place to visit when we lived in southern Florida and indeed in London.

We finished by chasing the birds around the nearby lagoon and park, our local park.
