Soho

What a beautiful day for my walking tour of Soho - blue skies and sunshine! Soho is such an eclectic mix of a place, from posh restaurants to famous jazz clubs like Ronnie Scott's, sex shops, churches, theatres, Chinatown, recording studios (Paul McCartney has his there just off Soho Square)...a fascinating part of London.

We had a rather talkative tour guide and in the end did not finish in the appointed time, so I had to dash off to get the train home to collect Thomas from school. But not before buying Thomas some sushi from Wasabi at Waterloo Station as he is mad about the stuff - he is dead jealous that his dad is in Japan all of this week and imagines he will be spending the week flitting from one sushi restaurant to another, when in reality he will be having back to back meetings and will barely get to see Tokyo.
