A few of my favourite things

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens.....

No, not that - rather bright sunny skies, longer days, clumps of snowdrops, lilac coloured croci and the promise of spring. If only it would warm up, it is still too chilly out there to even be thinking of spring.

Tomorrow I am going with Adam to Imperial College for an open day for offer holders (he has been given an offer to read Bio-Chemistry there). Currently ranked joint number 2 in the world with Cambridge, it is not surprising that the press have now devised the term Impbridge rather than Oxbridge. He is looking forward to the visit and seeing the labs and meeting the faculty staff.

Tomorrow is the conclusion of BBC2's Wolf Hall. I have found it very frustrating to watch, the dialogue is ridiculous and Mark Rylance, one of the greatest British actors walks around with the same worried expression on his face throughout every episode. Yet I have stuck with it, so it must have some appeal.
