Sunset

A busy day at the camp site. Up at the crack of 8.30, even got teaz and breakfast in bed. Then off out to sea in the kayak while the others went walking. The mission; mussels and/or paua (abalone).

Not the warmest of mornings and a stiff breeze so a challenging paddle. Several hours later after a leisurely mussel and paua hunt, and explore around the cliffs I returned with bucket full of big mussels, but no paua sadly.

Then a big cook up, mussels of course ;-)

The afternoon consisted of the kids padding in the lagoon, games of cricket, and reading books. That?s a summer holiday!

Just as I was talking Adam to bed we spied the light on the beach and had a look. Yes, it was well worth it, and no one else to see it. Their loss ;-)
