High as a Kite

After the late night returning from Wellington we didn't rush away today. We packed the car, loaded the camper, and departed at a leisurely 10.30, we were at Okains Bay by 12 and setting up for our 3 days weekend. Yedas family were already there and several more arrived soon after. We spent the rest of the day on the beach in the sun and the sand. And flying kites. Cool fun!

Then an early dinner the kids to bed, then much wine and merriment and long discussions about who knows what. And excellent day and night. Great to be in the wilderness (we could hardly hear the 500 or so other campers ;-)
