Southend....What A Morning.

What a morning I had. I arrived at Southend just before 8.00 this morning. You can see what kind of a day it was, windy but no rain. In the distance you can see the mile long Pier. It was actually a beautiful morning.

Well 75 booters gathered for a four hour long session. We were put into four groups and each group went to a different station. Some were on hills, steps and other exercises with tyres and scaffold poles. Another was on the beach working in the stinky mud. Another on the sand doing shuttle runs and various exercises and the last group working on hill running and kettle bells. I think I can safely say my body was exercised to the extreme. I came home wet, smelly, filthy, cold, knackered but absolutely delighted that I completed everything and really surprised myself at what I could actually do.

It took me ages to clean myself and my clothes. Once cleaned up dad took me to dinner.

Home now, fire lit and a well earned rest watching Dancing On Ice.
