Happy Valentine's Day!

Today is officially my two year anniversary on Blip, and you can see my very first entry here.

Alan and don't really do anything special for Valentine's, although we buy each other a card and I always cook a nice meal with champagne, which I shall do tonight, and I've bought some Macarons as a treat for dessert. We did have a lovely meal out last night though, and tomorrow we're heading into London for the day. We were supposed to be meeting Karen & Andy our friends who live in Yorkshire as it's their wedding anniversary today, and they'd booked a hotel for tonight. However their puppy is very poorly and they can't leave him, so they've had to cancel. It's a shame but he's their main concern and we can always meet up another time.

Anyway I wanted to do an appropriate Valentine's Blip, so I popped down to the local shop and bought a small bouquet of the tiniest red roses, it would have been cheaper for orange ones, but hey ho, and I decided to try the PIP Camera App on my iPad. I've played around with it before but never actually used it on Blip before.

I'm now going to tackle my mountain of ironing and then I've got my interview later on this afternoon. I don't know what state my appearance will be by the time I arrive as it's raining very heavily and we've got gale force winds again - I don't think an umbrella would survive!

I also had an email this morning from the Pony Trust offering me a regular volunteer position on the first Wednesday of every month. I've had to explain about the job search, and have asked if it would be possible for a weekend position, so fingers crossed.
