Four Seasons in One Day

Firstly I'd like to say a very big thank you for all your comments, stars and hearts on my 730th yesterday. My ponies galloped to the spotlight and stayed there for nearly 24 hours!

I was busy this morning and then met up with Chrissy to go on our midweek walk. Jinglyjan and her lovely dog Sadie joined us too as the walk was very close to where she lives, so it was nice to catch up and introduce Jan to the walking group.

We really did have four seasons in one day today - we woke up to torrential rain which cleared up to blue skies and sunshine, followed by heavy hailstone, and then sunshine again with autumnal colours in the forest which you can see here.

Anyway, we had another great walk followed by coffee and cakes in the Church when we got back. Then tonight Alan and I have been out for an early Valentine's dinner which was lovely, and cheaper than going out tomorrow night. Who said romance is dead lol!

In other news, I applied for a job this morning which ended up with two recruitment agencies fighting over me, but the end result is that I've got an interview tomorrow. And in other more worrying news, there was a suspect package found in the centre of Brighton today, and it turns out that there were others in Oxford, Slough and Kent. They were all planted outside Army Careers offices, but have all been dealt with, so fingers crossed there are no further attacks.

Anyway, it's late so I'll say goodnight, and I'll catch up with you all tomorrow x
