The Flight of the Starlings

We've having a nice relaxing weekend at home after a rather busy couple of weeks and  Bobbie and Milou were booked in with Karen for grooming so we decided to go out for lunch after we'd dropped them off.  I was bought a gift voucher  for Pizza Express for my birthday so we went to the one at the Marina and we were both nicely surprised as it's not somewhere we'd normally think to go, but the food and service were fantastic!

Then after lunch we walked from the Marina to the pier to watch the sunset and the murmuration of starlings - there were so many of them, it was such an amazing sight to see.  

We got home just as Karen was dropping the boys off and they look so clean and fluffy, but  I think it's been an exciting day for them as they're both now fast asleep.  I have to say though that Alan and I feel the same as we've done a lot of walking today!  

It's three years ago today that I joined Blip, but it's been a lot harder to keep up since starting back at work, so I've had a few gaps and I'm still a little way to go until my 1,095.  I'll get there soon though :-)

Anyway, I'm going to go and open a bottle of champagne - Happy Valentines Day!
